Firstly the song Tom's diner takes place on a rainy day, so the cover of the book I recreated the scene of the rain hitting the glass on a rainy day. I designed the font and layout of the book according to the meaning of each lyric, and I also used colour blocks to represent the lyrics in the book, for example, oh, the rain it will continue through the morning, I used yellow, orange and blue to represent the morning, afternoon and evening of the day respectively. so I put the lyrics in the yellow block for morning, and also the lyrics "her hair is getting wet", which means her hair gets frizzy and disheveled when it gets wet, so I used hand-drawing to show the frizz.
