The book is inspired by the backstory of tom's diner and how the song is the judge of the success of the compression algorithm, and I was struck by the endless possibilities that technology has brought to the table, even when memories can be uploaded through compression algorithms. However, people are still judged by their subjective perceptions, so could this be seen as a loophole in the cyber world.
